What is Fibromyalgia and How It Affects Superstar Lady Gaga
In today’s article, I’ll be discussing how Superstar Lady Gaga struggles with fibromyalgia; but first, let’s cover Fibromyalgia Definition. Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition that can cause a wide range of symptoms, including pain, fatigue, and cognitive issues. It is often associated with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and can have a significant impact on an individual’s quality of life. I know from my own experience with fibromyalgia it often involves family and friends wondering what’s wrong. Fibromyalgia, especially if you suffer from it, is known as an “invisible” disease, just like many other diseases.
According to verywellhealth.com, fibromyalgia may be classified as an autoimmune disease. For many years, the medical community pointed away from (FM) being an autoimmune disease. Unfortunately, and depending on what you read or who you talk to you, I believe the jury is still out on the classification of fibromyalgia. What isn’t a mystery is that this debilitating illness causes life-altering, chronic pain. And, depending on which country you live in, that also will be another situation you will have to address. For example, my doctors in the U.S. diagnosed me with Rheumatoid Arthritis; however, when I moved to Germany, the doctors there only looked at RA CRP blood factors and not the overall characteristics of RA; therefore, the doctors quickly labeled me as having FM.
Now on to the famous singer-songwriter Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga is a world-renowned singer-songwriter who has recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, a chronic pain disorder.
